The Canadian Society for the Study of Education, the largest educational research association in Canada, has generously sponsored our IAACS conference with a knowledge mobilization grant. Consequently, the conference chairs are seeking 25 International graduate students who will share their lived experiences during the conference with others via social media outlets such as but not limited to: Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube TV.
Graduate students who are awarded the bursary will also be expected to write up a 400-blog at the end of the conference that will be posted on different websites and in various associations’ newsletters.
Proposals are due May 15, 2015. Preference will be given to international students who can read, write and speak in more than one language. A total of 25 bursaries will be awarded. Each graduate student will receive 100.00 dollars. The 25 successful applicants will meet with the conference chairs during the first day in order to discuss various knowledge mobilization strategies, resources, and topics they might engage during the week.

Please send a brief statement (approximately 150 words) describing your talent for turning abstract concepts into captivating phrases, using social media such as twitter, and your experience writing materials with very direct calls to action.
